Ammonia nitrogen remover is a general term for agents used in wastewater treatment to remove ammonia nitrogen from wastewater. It features fast reaction speed, wide applicability, and requires no changes to the treatment process—only the addition of a dosing device. It is suitable for medium to low concentrations of ammonia nitrogen wastewater.

By adding chemical agents, chemical reactions occur with the ammonia nitrogen in the wastewater. There are many such methods with different principles, such as sodium phosphate and magnesium chloride, which belong to conventional precipitation methods, or breakpoint chlorination. However, the goal is always to reduce ammonia nitrogen levels in the wastewater.

The ammonia nitrogen remover is used to eliminate ammonia nitrogen from wastewater. After dosing, it causes part of the ammonia nitrogen to form insoluble substances in water. The catalytic components in this product convert ionized ammonia nitrogen into a free state, leaving no residue and achieving high removal efficiency. It also has some effect on removing heavy metal ions.

Usage Method:

For small-scale trials, first dissolve the ammonia nitrogen remover into a 5% aqueous solution before dosing. Based on the ammonia nitrogen value of the wastewater, every 100 ppm of the agent added can remove approximately 10-12 ppm of ammonia nitrogen (reference value). The reaction takes about 5-10 minutes to become effective, with no residue or precipitation, and the effluent can be directly discharged.

The ammonia nitrogen remover is dosed at the point after the secondary sedimentation tank.

The total nitrogen remover is dosed in the biochemical aeration tank.

Storage and Packaging:

General chemical product; avoid direct contact with eyes and skin. Use labor protection equipment during handling.
